1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and the Masterstrap open-source project maintenance team ("Masterstrap", "we", or "us"). These Terms govern your download, installation, and use of the Masterstrap desktop application, Masterstrap mobile application, and the masterstrap.org website.
2. Permitted Use & Open Source License
Masterstrap is an open-source utility designed to facilitate the legitimate modification of local configuration files (such as ClientAppSettings.json) to customize rendering parameters, graphics presets, and user interface preferences.
- Personal & Educational Use: You are granted a personal, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the software for personal configuration and educational testing.
- Open Source Audit: You may inspect, fork, or build the source code in accordance with our open-source license published on our GitHub repository.
- No Malicious Modification: You agree not to distribute modified binaries containing malware, spyware, unauthorized telemetry collectors, or deceptive installers bearing the Masterstrap name.
3. Trademark & Intellectual Property Disclaimer
Independent Project Notice: Roblox is a registered trademark of Roblox Corporation. Masterstrap is an independent third-party software utility and is not endorsed, sponsored, affiliated with, or associated in any manner with Roblox Corporation, NetEase, or any of their respective affiliates or subsidiaries.
All trademarks, game logos, character names, and registered trade names displayed on masterstrap.org belong to their respective rights holders. References to game titles identify compatibility; they do not imply endorsement or grant permission to redistribute a rights holder's software.
4. User Responsibilities & Game Policies
When applying FastFlag parameters or community presets through Masterstrap, you acknowledge and agree that:
- FastFlags represent internal engine testing flags provided by the game engine. Certain flags may be deprecated, altered, or restricted by game developers or platform operators at any time.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that your usage of custom settings adheres to the terms of service and community guidelines of any gaming platform or online service you connect to.
- You will not use the software to facilitate abusive behavior, harass other players, or disrupt server infrastructure.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Masterstrap is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Masterstrap disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- Any warranty that the software will be completely uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with all future platform updates, or immune from technical incompatibilities.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall the Masterstrap developers, contributors, or community coordinators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of goodwill, computer malfunction, or account sanctions resulting from your use of the software.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to revise or replace these Terms at our sole discretion. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Masterstrap after any such updates constitutes your acceptance of the newly revised Terms.

9. Purchases & Receipts
Review the selected plan, quantity, payment method, exact quoted amount, network, and transfer reference before paying. Gateway fees or currency conversion can change the amount shown at checkout. Plan coverage describes Masterstrap's configuration allowance, not a guarantee that Roblox accepts every flag or that performance improves.
Automatic license delivery requires a payment the server can verify against the invoice. Entering a payment ID does not by itself prove payment. A receipt already assigned to an invoice cannot be used to obtain additional keys. Device limits are enforced by the license service; account safety features do not guarantee protection from platform sanctions.
Invoices and issued keys are stored in your Discord purchase account. If you provide a receipt email, use an address you own. Email may be delayed or rejected; this does not issue another license or erase your purchase. Keep your invoice ID and payment receipt, and contact support if payment or delivery cannot be matched. Requests concerning incorrect payments, delivery failures, or refunds require review of the transaction; these terms do not limit rights provided by applicable consumer law.
