Plain-Language Privacy Summary: Masterstrap does not collect your personal identity, passwords, contacts, precise location, or photos. All FastFlag settings and game presets are stored locally on your device. We prioritize user safety, minimal data collection, non-root system operations, and full compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.

1. Scope and Controller

The Masterstrap Team ("Masterstrap", "we", "us", or "our") is the developer and controller of the Masterstrap software ecosystem. This policy governs:

  • The Android application package: com.masterstrap.app (distributed via Google Play and official channels).
  • The Masterstrap Windows desktop application.
  • The official website located at masterstrap.org and related service APIs.

2. Application Safety & Non-Root Architecture

Masterstrap is built from the ground up with a strict commitment to device safety and user security:

  • Non-Root Operation: Masterstrap operates entirely in standard Android user mode. It does NOT require root permissions, does NOT modify Android system binaries, and does NOT compromise device integrity.
  • Standard Configuration Engine: FastFlag adjustments and visual tweaks are applied by creating or modifying standard, non-malicious client configuration files (ClientAppSettings.json) intended for client customization.
  • Safe Game Mode & System Optimization: The "Safe Boost" and "Turbo Boost" performance features optimize local application cache, reduce thread latency, and prioritize CPU frame delivery via standard, documented Android OS APIs (such as ActivityManager cache trimming and frame pacing sync). No executable binary injection or memory hooking is performed.
  • No Dangerous Permissions: Masterstrap does not request or require dangerous permissions such as MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, GPS location, microphone, camera, or SMS access.

3. Information We Process

A. Locally Stored Data (Stored on your device only)

The following items are stored strictly on your local device storage and are never uploaded to our servers without your explicit action:

  • Custom FastFlag key-value entries and preset preferences.
  • Theme settings (Dark / Light mode) and selected interface language.
  • Preferred target client package choice (Global / VNG).
  • Toggle states for Safe Boost and Turbo Game Mode profiles.

B. License & Service Verification Information

When you activate an optional license or use cloud verification features, limited non-sensitive diagnostic identifiers are processed:

  • A license key provided by you during activation.
  • An anonymized hardware hash / installation identifier used to enforce single-device license limits and prevent license sharing abuse.
  • Application version and plan status (e.g., Free, Plus, Max).

C. Technical & Advertising Data

To support ongoing development and deliver free features, Masterstrap integrates verified advertising partner SDKs. Depending on your region, device consent settings, and applicable privacy laws, advertising networks may collect:

  • Google Advertising ID (AAID) and App Set ID (resettable at any time in Android System Settings).
  • Device model, operating system version, screen density, and system language.
  • Coarse network information (IP address for general country/region routing).
  • Ad interaction telemetry (impressions, clicks, completed rewarded video views).

4. Why We Process Information

Information processed by Masterstrap is strictly limited to the following legitimate operational purposes:

  • Core Functionality: Applying requested FastFlag settings and rendering game presets accurately.
  • License Management: Authenticating valid license keys and protecting against fraudulent activations.
  • Monetization & Rewards: Delivering opt-in rewarded video advertisements when unlocking premium features (such as Turbo Boost).
  • Diagnostics & Stability: Analyzing anonymized crash logs to fix bugs and improve performance across Android OS versions.
  • Security & Policy Compliance: Detecting invalid automated bot traffic and preventing abuse of service infrastructure.

5. Advertising Partners & Privacy Policies

Masterstrap utilizes industry-standard, Google Play certified advertising and mediation networks. Each partner processes data in accordance with their independent privacy policies and applicable international regulations (such as GDPR and CCPA/CPRA):

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data is only shared in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Certified SDK Partners: Advertising networks and mediation partners as listed above for ad delivery and fraud prevention.
  • Hosting & Infrastructure Providers: Secure cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare) to deliver website pages and fast API responses.
  • Legal Requirements: If compelled by lawful governmental requests, subpoenas, or applicable law enforcement procedures.

7. Your Privacy Rights & Choices

You have full control over your data and device privacy:

  • Reset Advertising ID: You can reset or delete your Android Advertising ID at any time via Android Settings > Google > Ads.
  • Clear App Data: You can wipe all locally stored FastFlags, presets, and preferences by going to Android Settings > Apps > Masterstrap > Clear Storage.
  • Opt-out of Personalized Ads: You can opt out of personalized interest-based advertising within the ad settings of your Android device.
  • Data Deletion Requests: You may request the deletion of any license-related records by contacting our support team.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Masterstrap is a general-audience utility tool designed for users aged 13 and older (or the applicable digital age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can promptly delete such data.

9. Data Security & Encryption

All network communications between Masterstrap applications and official APIs (such as license verification and update checking) are encrypted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/TLS 1.3).
